Celtics move on

Paul Pierce vs. LeBron James. That’s what the game was like. One shot after the other made and missed by these two players. But again, even though LeBron scored 45 points and everyone is talking how good he was, I believe he performed poorly. It wasn’t the usual LeBron from the regular season, and that’s why I think the Cavs lost. None of the other players, like Pavlovic, and Wally stepped it up and took enough shots. We have to remember basketball is a team sport. No matter if you have a LeBron, Kobe, or even MJ in your team, but if there are no other players to support them the TEAM will not succeed.

A clear example is this year’s playoffs. The teams remaining are: Celtics, Pistons, Spurs, Lakers. Of course all of those teams have stars and main players but none of those teams rely on JUST one player to win games. Even Kobe, who is arguably the one player in the Lakers that allows them to win most of the games, but even still Gasol, Odom and Fisher always step up and provide quality numbers and contribute to each win.

Anyways, now we will see a great Eastern Semifinal with Celtics vs. Pistons. Two great TEAMS willing to give it all for the chance to play in the finals.

My prediction: Celtics in 6.
